In an exhilarating second ODI between West Indies and England on November 2, 2024, England chased down a massive target of 329, achieving victory with five wickets and 15 balls to spare. 

West Indies batted first at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua, amassing an impressive 328/6 with standout performances from Shai Hope (117), Keacy Carty (71), and Sherfane Rutherford (54). Despite the substantial total, West Indies couldn’t hold off the English batters.


England's innings was marked by a powerful response from Liam Livingstone, who scored an unbeaten 124 off 85 balls, including nine sixes, in a blistering display. 

Livingstone was well-supported by Sam Curran, who contributed to a critical 140-run partnership that turned the game.

 The West Indies bowlers, especially Gudakesh Motie, struggled to contain Livingstone, who accelerated sharply in the last ten overs, clinching the game with remarkable hitting.


This thrilling match leaves the three-match series tied at 1-1, with the decider set to be played in Barbados on November 6.
